Michael Alger – Owner
Michael is the owner of this Title Boxing Club franchise with his wife and 3 daughters, He grew up in the San Francisco Bay area and is an avid SF 49′ers fan and SF Giants fan. Michael loves Title Boxing and what it brings to the community. He loves the family atmosphere, the camaraderie between members, and the fun everyone has while there.
Chanda Gunter – Marketing Director
Chanda is our resident Marketing Director and can usually be found on Facebook or Twitter. She handles all of our social media, our blog, special events, PR and media relations, and member relations. Often times you will see her at the gym taking pictures and video, wrapping hands, and doing whatever needs to be done to make your experience with title awesome!
Courtney Nelson – Front Desk
Courtney is a recent graduate of Brighton High shchool and was the Co-Captain of the Accadians Drill Team. She started with Title on our opening day and has been a constant fixture ever since! You will find Courtney wrapping hands, answering phones, and helping members and new guests.
Whitney Zuckerberg – Front Desk
For the last eighteen years as a Personal Trainer/Nutrition Coach, Dash has assisted people with a variety of weight-loss and fitness methods. From weight-loss for the stay-at-home mom, to competitive bodybuilders and professional athletes, and everything in between. He is certified with (NASM) National Academy of sports medicine, (ISSA) International Sport Science Association, Paul Cheks Institute, and Apex Fitness Systems, for nutrition. Dash has two years of boxing training under the tutelage of Eddie “the Flash” Newman, of Flash Academy. His hobbies include; boxing, (of course) Tae Kwon Do, cycling, running, golf, writing, and being with his family. His life’s goal and passion, is to spread the message of “creating a better quality of life,” through movement and healthy eating, while making a connection with the body and spirit.
Sarah is an avid work out nut! Having been around the block a few times when it comes to fitness, Sarah is CrossFit Level 1 certified, an AFAA certified Personal Fitness and Group Fitness trainer, ISCA Kickboxing instructor, Schwinn Cycle instructor, TRX Group Training instructor, and hold training certificates in Mat Pilates and Ballet Barre. She has been training in Muay Thai under Sakasem Kanthawong for nearly 10 years. Running is a passion for Sarah and she has run 2 marathons, 7 half marathons, 2 sprint triathlons, 2 olympic triathlons, and multiple 10ks and 5ks. Sarah also enjoys trail running/hiking, golf, camping and snowboarding and she’s a wife and mother of one.
Robert was born and raised in Salt Lake City, UT. and began training with Fullmer Boxing gym in South Jordan, Utah when he was just 15 years old. Gene Fullmer, who fought and won the title of Champion of the World in 1957 as a Middle weight against Sugar Ray Robinson, was an inspiration to Robert, as well as Don and Jay Fullmer, also professional fighters. Robert competed from 1999-2004 in State USA boxing and in Golden Gloves tournaments as an amateur. He took a break from competing, but resumed competing in various tournaments in 2009 and including the Golden Gloves tournament in 2013. Robert was featured in a BYU documentary on the Fullmer Brothers Boxing gym, showcasing his passion as a fighter. He enjoys running, soccer, boxing, overall fitness and has a passion for healthy living and anything that keeps him motivated and focused on staying fit and healthy. Robert looks forward to helping you reach your fitness goals.
Javier is 22 years old and is a professional MMA fighter, with a 5 and 1 record. He’s been training in many forms of martial arts for 7 years, but specializes in Muay Thai, Brazilian Ju Jitsu, wrestling, Judo and of course boxing! He likes running marathons, being outdoors and anything to do with exercise. Javier is very outgoing and eager to whip some people into shape at Title Boxing!
Mike is our newest trainer who originally came to us as a member several months ago. He has been practicing martial arts for almost 30 years and has been teaching for 17 years. Mike is highly accomplished in martial arts holding a 6th degree black sash in Kung-Fu, 2nd degree brown belt in Muso-Kai Karate and is certified in Tai Chi and Kru Muay Thai under Sakasem “The Punisher” Kathawong. He has been teaching Kung-Fu, Tai Chi, and Kru Muay Thai for 17 years. His love for boxing came into play after joining Title Boxing Club and learning from his favorite trainers Dash Cox and Robert Tomayo. Outside of Title and his extensie martial arts background, Mike is a graphic novel artist and enjoys Anime Illustration and comic books.
